While the retention is good and it is more comfortable when driving compared to my last holster it is troublesome when putting it on and taking it off if you get one side off the other digs in a bit making it harder to remove and unless I’m wearing a belt it the holster tends to come out with the holster which limits what clothes I can wear when using it or ultimately I have to choose a different holster all together but that aside in terms of concealment it’s great I wish you guys had options for revolvers

This is the most comfortable AIWB I have ever used. I wear it for hours at a time. I sit, I stand and I walk with no issues. Using it with a CZ PO-1 so it’s not a small weapon. I’m 5’6 and around 170 so not a swimsuit model by any means. I use the pads available from the company and it really helps keep the weapon concealed against my body, even under a shirt that is semi-tight. Highly recommend this product!

This is the best holster I’ve ever owned. For comfort, the wedge is necessary, otherwise it tends to dig into your pubic bone are just above the groin. But with the wedge, it’s 100% comfortable and it conceals my large frame Glock 21 .45ACP pistol extremely well.

The absolute best experience from start to the product in my waistband. This was by far the best IWB holster I have ever owned. I was a little hesitate on the price tag, but man am I absolutely happy with the product. The colors were exactly what I pictured, the fitment of my firearm and spare mag was beyond perfect. The concealment is on point. I'm not a big guy, athletic build 6' 170ish pounds. You'd never know what I'm concealing unless you know it's there. I've worn it driving, sitting at a restaurant, walking around in very public places and you don't even know it's there. Worth every cent. The shirt is well made and well fitted, pairs great with the holster. If you're on the fence, buy it, you WILL NOT regret it. Thanks Tier1!!

Tier 1 is my go-to for edc holsters and this is my third one from them. With everything I liked about the previous two (Axis Elite & Xiphos V2), the Axis Slim was perfect for my CZ P01. I paired it with a Streamlight TLR 7 HLX, knowing that I would have to do a little mod to open up the area for the extended light bezzle. After a little Dremel and heat gun action, she slips in so smoothly now that it's as if it was made that way. I'm always satisfied with my Tier 1 gear.

This is my second holster from Tier1. The first holster, the Xiphos V2, isn’t a good fit for me. I tried everything to conceal the gun, but nothing worked. Additionally, the Xiphos V2 is not comfortable. So, the pistol the Xiphos was molded for sat in my gun cabinet for a few years before I could buy a replacement. I have admired the sidecar holster design since it was introduced to the market. So, I bought Axis Slim with hopes it would be a better fit for me. Now that I have it and have been wearing it daily with my Beretta APX Compact I must say…. This is a comfortable and well made holster. It definitely was a worthwhile purchase.

HK VP9 standard with Streamlight TLR-7X.
Went with recon haze front kydex… it sort of matches the bronze gun slide. No mag extension. XL wide wedge was too big, will need to shave it down and add Velcro to it so I can remove it from the holster as needed. Using three spacers on the claw. I like the discreet carry clips, they are definitely tough and strong, lending to a bit of belt scratching, not a big deal. Will see how it works with a dress shirt this week. Some printing issues but not bad. Took around 20 days from order to delivery.

I bought an Axis in 2022 I’ll just say that this is the best holster I’ve ever worn. I have had multiple other holsters from different companies and, while they performed as intended, the Axis goes above and beyond. The fit and finish is amazing and ability for the holster to flex in the middle makes it amazingly comfortable.
I carry practically everyday and had just recently noticed a crack where the trigger guard was. I sent an email over to Tier 1 and within 10 minutes received a reply stating they would replace the holster. I have never had customer service that quick.
This holster and Tier 1 Concealed will meet and exceed any expectations you have. You won’t find quality like this in many other companies out there.

WOW! Just wow! I have been concealing a firearm off and on for nearly 2 decades. Last year I finally decided to upgrade my cheap IWB cloth holster. I did a bunch of research and it’s like there are two diehard groups. Leather and Kydex. Both groups swear by their choice and end their reviews with, “well, it’s ultimately up to the person wearing the holster on whether leather (or Kydex) is right for you.” It seems like you just can’t get a straight answer. After a bunch of research I finally decided on a Lock Leather holster by Urban Carry. Great holster, and a HUGE improvement from the cloth IWB I was using for years. I could actually remove and reholster with little to issues. After wearing it daily for the last 4 months, I grew to have a love hate relationship with the Lock Leather holster. It was comfortable, sort of, and the single clip was in the exact wrong place. In the center where it was most comfortably placed, the clip often has to clasp over the button on my pants or shorts. That means I had to wear it to the right of the center. Then the bottom of the leather holster would dig into my right thigh as I walked. The clip was unadjustable and caused the holster to sit low on my waist line which made the firearm hard to grab firmly or consistently. Making the purchase difficult. I was able to work around it under controlled conditions, but under stress drills the purchase was inconsistent at best. When I sat down, I always had to adjust the holster to be somewhat comfortable. Why am I reviewing a product that Tier 1 doesn’t even sale. Because I want to make it absolutely clear that, from the moment I put my new Tier 1 Concealed Axis Slim on it was a night and day difference. It is not even close. There was no acclimation period. It just felt right! The comfort out of the box is AMAZING!!! The two clips straddle my pant button and belt buckle perfectly. The ride height is great, and even if it wasn’t, it’s adjustable. Currently it rides slightly higher than the Lock Leather holster, so the purchase is effortless, firm and consistent. If you are trying to decide on a holster, feel absolutely confident that the Tier 1 holsters are nothing short of amazing. You will not be disappointed. They are much more expensive, but when tenths of a second matter, how much is your life worth! Great company, customer service and product!

I own an AIWB holster from several big holster makes. Tier 1 absolutely makes the most comfortable holster out there. I have no issues at all carrying around an HK VP9L and a spare 20-round mag. The Axis Slim does a fantastic job concealing a full-size gun.

When I found out about Tier1, initially I was reluctant since the price is about 2x of my previous holster. Long story short I decided to go with the Axis Slim and add a TLR7 option. My holster arrived in <3 weeks. I can't be happier with this purchased. Yes it's expensive AF after adding the wedge pack and the discreet clip set. But it's worth every penny! I bought it for my P229 as this was the main option available. I can't wait till the Aegis line becomes a option for the p229. So far with daily use and hundreds of dryfire drills its holding up and giving me the exact quality and durability I've come to expect from Tier1. I'm 6ft 1inch at 145 lbs. I'm tall and lanky. But this holster with a small wedge and I'm carrying a P229 Legion with a red dot and a 17rd back up with virtually no printing. I don't have to wear overly baggy shirts either just my normal large band tees or button ups. Can't wait till my Spara arrives this week, once again Top Tier quality from Tier1 keep up the good work guys!

The best thing I ever did was find Tier1 Concealed! As a long time Conceal/Carrier here in MN and an Instructor I like many have the pile of junk holsters. When I started carrying there were very few if any choices! I found the best and they are the only holster co I will ever use! People think appendix carry is uncomfortable but not with Tier1! I drove 18 hours to TX and 18 hours back for training. I never once wanted or needed to remove this holster the whole time. That's a true testimony to their holsters!!!!!!

I'm 5'6" and 155...not a big guy... I heard a lot of good things about Tier 1 from a buddy of mine and finally got an Axis Slim w/ spare mag carrier for a VP9 w/ TLR-1. Surprisingly, it fits really well and allows me to carry a full size and conceal better than the 365 I used to carry. Great quality, fit and adjustability. I'm sure I'll be going back for more from the folks there at Tier 1. Pricey, but as frugal as I am, in my eyes, the cost is worth it to me.
1 suggestion: The edges on the kydex against my body are relatively sharp and scrape against my stomach. I'll need to shave those areas down. At this price, I would expect the finish quality to be better. (This is the only reason I gave 4 stars...if this were squared away, I'd have given 5 stars for sure.)
1 request: More availability of light configurations would be much appreciated. I was really wanting an axis elite, but the pistol/light config wasn't available.

Tier 1 is my go-to for edc holsters and this is my third one from them. With everything I liked about the previous two (Axis Elite & Xiphos V2), the Axis Slim was perfect for my CZ P01. I paired it with a Streamlight TLR 7 HLX, knowing that I would have to do a little mod to open up the area for the extended light bezzle. After a little Dremel and heat gun action, she slips in so smoothly now that it's as if it was made that way. I'm always satisfied with my Tier 1 gear.

This is my second holster from Tier1. The first holster, the Xiphos V2, isn’t a good fit for me. I tried everything to conceal the gun, but nothing worked. Additionally, the Xiphos V2 is not comfortable. So, the pistol the Xiphos was molded for sat in my gun cabinet for a few years before I could buy a replacement. I have admired the sidecar holster design since it was introduced to the market. So, I bought Axis Slim with hopes it would be a better fit for me. Now that I have it and have been wearing it daily with my Beretta APX Compact I must say…. This is a comfortable and well made holster. It definitely was a worthwhile purchase.

HK VP9 standard with Streamlight TLR-7X.
Went with recon haze front kydex… it sort of matches the bronze gun slide. No mag extension. XL wide wedge was too big, will need to shave it down and add Velcro to it so I can remove it from the holster as needed. Using three spacers on the claw. I like the discreet carry clips, they are definitely tough and strong, lending to a bit of belt scratching, not a big deal. Will see how it works with a dress shirt this week. Some printing issues but not bad. Took around 20 days from order to delivery.

I bought an Axis in 2022 I’ll just say that this is the best holster I’ve ever worn. I have had multiple other holsters from different companies and, while they performed as intended, the Axis goes above and beyond. The fit and finish is amazing and ability for the holster to flex in the middle makes it amazingly comfortable.
I carry practically everyday and had just recently noticed a crack where the trigger guard was. I sent an email over to Tier 1 and within 10 minutes received a reply stating they would replace the holster. I have never had customer service that quick.
This holster and Tier 1 Concealed will meet and exceed any expectations you have. You won’t find quality like this in many other companies out there.

WOW! Just wow! I have been concealing a firearm off and on for nearly 2 decades. Last year I finally decided to upgrade my cheap IWB cloth holster. I did a bunch of research and it’s like there are two diehard groups. Leather and Kydex. Both groups swear by their choice and end their reviews with, “well, it’s ultimately up to the person wearing the holster on whether leather (or Kydex) is right for you.” It seems like you just can’t get a straight answer. After a bunch of research I finally decided on a Lock Leather holster by Urban Carry. Great holster, and a HUGE improvement from the cloth IWB I was using for years. I could actually remove and reholster with little to issues. After wearing it daily for the last 4 months, I grew to have a love hate relationship with the Lock Leather holster. It was comfortable, sort of, and the single clip was in the exact wrong place. In the center where it was most comfortably placed, the clip often has to clasp over the button on my pants or shorts. That means I had to wear it to the right of the center. Then the bottom of the leather holster would dig into my right thigh as I walked. The clip was unadjustable and caused the holster to sit low on my waist line which made the firearm hard to grab firmly or consistently. Making the purchase difficult. I was able to work around it under controlled conditions, but under stress drills the purchase was inconsistent at best. When I sat down, I always had to adjust the holster to be somewhat comfortable. Why am I reviewing a product that Tier 1 doesn’t even sale. Because I want to make it absolutely clear that, from the moment I put my new Tier 1 Concealed Axis Slim on it was a night and day difference. It is not even close. There was no acclimation period. It just felt right! The comfort out of the box is AMAZING!!! The two clips straddle my pant button and belt buckle perfectly. The ride height is great, and even if it wasn’t, it’s adjustable. Currently it rides slightly higher than the Lock Leather holster, so the purchase is effortless, firm and consistent. If you are trying to decide on a holster, feel absolutely confident that the Tier 1 holsters are nothing short of amazing. You will not be disappointed. They are much more expensive, but when tenths of a second matter, how much is your life worth! Great company, customer service and product!

I own an AIWB holster from several big holster makes. Tier 1 absolutely makes the most comfortable holster out there. I have no issues at all carrying around an HK VP9L and a spare 20-round mag. The Axis Slim does a fantastic job concealing a full-size gun.

I carried my steel frame CZ P01 (99041) with an AIWB holster from another well-known brand (without a mag pouch, without a light). It printed on any cover I tried.
When I found out about Tier1, initially I was reluctant since the price is about 2x of my previous holster. Long story short I decided to go with the Axis Slim and add a TLR7 option. My holster arrived in <3 weeks. I can't be happier with this purchased. Yes it's expensive AF after adding the wedge pack and the discreet clip set. But it's worth every penny! I bought it for my P229 as this was the main option available. I can't wait till the Aegis line becomes a option for the p229. So far with daily use and hundreds of dryfire drills its holding up and giving me the exact quality and durability I've come to expect from Tier1. I'm 6ft 1inch at 145 lbs. I'm tall and lanky. But this holster with a small wedge and I'm carrying a P229 Legion with a red dot and a 17rd back up with virtually no printing. I don't have to wear overly baggy shirts either just my normal large band tees or button ups. Can't wait till my Spara arrives this week, once again Top Tier quality from Tier1 keep up the good work guys!

The best thing I ever did was find Tier1 Concealed! As a long time Conceal/Carrier here in MN and an Instructor I like many have the pile of junk holsters. When I started carrying there were very few if any choices! I found the best and they are the only holster co I will ever use! People think appendix carry is uncomfortable but not with Tier1! I drove 18 hours to TX and 18 hours back for training. I never once wanted or needed to remove this holster the whole time. That's a true testimony to their holsters!!!!!!

I'm 5'6" and 155...not a big guy... I heard a lot of good things about Tier 1 from a buddy of mine and finally got an Axis Slim w/ spare mag carrier for a VP9 w/ TLR-1. Surprisingly, it fits really well and allows me to carry a full size and conceal better than the 365 I used to carry. Great quality, fit and adjustability. I'm sure I'll be going back for more from the folks there at Tier 1. Pricey, but as frugal as I am, in my eyes, the cost is worth it to me.
1 suggestion: The edges on the kydex against my body are relatively sharp and scrape against my stomach. I'll need to shave those areas down. At this price, I would expect the finish quality to be better. (This is the only reason I gave 4 stars...if this were squared away, I'd have given 5 stars for sure.)
1 request: More availability of light configurations would be much appreciated. I was really wanting an axis elite, but the pistol/light config wasn't available.

The corners at the bottom tend to dig into my legs if it isn’t worn exactly perfect, and even then it digs in sometimes, otherwise it prints significantly less than any other holster I’ve used.
